HIPPA Compliance

It is expressly understood by Luxury Healing House and Partnered Health Care Facilities (Surgery Center) that have access to protected health information (hereinafter known as “PHI”) that is subject to the requirements of 45 C.F.R. §160, 162, and 164 and related regulations. If Healthcare personal is considered by Luxury Healing House to be a covered entity or business associate or is required to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (hereinafter known as “HIPAA”), Healthcare personal shall fully protect individually identifiable health information as required by HIPAA.  Healthcare personal shall handle and secure such PHI in compliance with HIPAA and its related regulations. Luxury Healing House shall ensure that the requirements of this Article are included and signed in all agreements with its subcontractors.
